RendaClad Rainscreen Cladding System

RendaClad has primarily been developed to provide a seamless rendered rainscreen system to an LSF or timber framed structure.

RendaClad replaces the need to build a blockwork façade, with low performance cementitious renders. RendaClad increases the speed of construction, reduces the building footprint, improves the logistics of supply and storage all at a lower cost than traditional construction methods. RendaClad is a full façade system made up of carefully selected components which have been rigorously tested individually and as an entire system, making it one of a very few BBA approved systems of its type, assuring its long-term performance.

Render-to-board applications have previously been fraught with issues relating to cracking and de-lamination. RendaClad provides a lowcost solution guaranteed not to crack and is able to accommodate the expected settlement and differential movement within timber frame construction. In addition, silicone render finishes give long term durability and a high-resistance to dirt retention and algal spoiling, resulting in a highly durable render system with a minimum life expectancy of 30 years.

Certification

SPSenvirowall was the first to offer a fully BBA certified render carrier board and render brick slip system in 2012. Our history with this solution however, goes back to 2006 when we first developed a tested system in conjunction with Ceram, now Lucideon.

As pioneers of this technology within the UK, SPSenvirowall has stayed at the forefront of continuous testing and development.

We currently have 3 certifications (1 pending) on our RendaClad system. No company in the market offers such a compressive range of accreditations for this highly effective and innovative solution.

RECOMMENDED COMPONENTS AND ACCESSORIES

Used to allow insulated structures to easily release excess moisture vapour into the atmosphere and keep the internal elements of wall structures dry.
EPDM is an important Benx façade protection layer. It is a synthetic rubber material which is both weather resistant and tear-resistant.
Essential accessories for a wide variety of applications, including sealing of sheathing boards and the durable bonding of breather membranes.
Beads for a rendered façade will ensure the best finished look, ensure durability and help protect the render from water damage and cracking.
The Benx range of silicone, acrylic and mineral renders are a great way to achieve a perfect and long lasting finish.
Used over basecoat in conjunction with one of our topcoats.
Benx glass fibre reinforcement mesh is used to add extra strength and impact resistance to basecoats.
Used to reinforce and level the wall, used in combination with reinforcement mesh.
Designed to protect the building void between the inner and outer facade elements.
An fully engineered mounting solution suitable for the most demanding of cladding applications.
