Our Training Academy is designed to guide you through the expertise and technical know how required to install SPSenvirowall systems proficiently. Our market-leading training courses offer a combination of both theoretical and practical training sessions to fully equip you with the knowledge and skills required for every project.

Our series of approved modules offer a blended approach to learning: combining classroom learning with hands-on learning, installers will receive an all-rounded training experience. Course 1 - EWI Systems & New Build

Sign up for an insightful initiation into External Wall Insulation (EWI) systems. Perfect for seasonal plasterers and those that already have experience of EWI Systems.

Our External Wall Insulation training covers:

  • External wall insulation: What is it and why is it effective?
  • SPS EWI systems: An overview
  • How are the systems installed?
  • Types of insulation and their corresponding fixings/adhesives
  • Preparing to render: Basecoat reinforcement layer and priming

Health and safety is paramount importance here at SPSenvirowall. During our training sessions, we ensure to cover the various possible hazards on site and how to go about mitigating them, including general site safety and handling tools.

Certificates

Once candidates have completed the course, each will be given an individual attendance SPSenvirowall competency card which will be issued once an up-to-date photo has been received.

Course 2: PAS2035 & Refurbishment

This comprehensive course will include the following key topics:

  • Detailing – Cold Bridging Traffic Light Details: Master the art of addressing cold bridging and delve into the intricacies of traffic light detailing for optimized energy performance.
  • Two Seals – Water Ingress: Equip yourself with the skills to effectively combat water ingress, ensuring the durability and resilience of your retrofit projects.
  • Pull Out Testing – Warranties – Site Visits: Gain expertise in pull-out testing, understand the nuances of warranties, and streamline your site visit processes.
  • Roof Line Closure Systems: Understand the latest guidelines, design principals, proper use of roofline closure systems and survey information.

Course 3 - Rainscreen Facades

This course is designed for construction professionals looking to build a strong foundation in rainscreen systems.

The session combines technical theory with practical insight. Delegates will explore real system components, supported by guided discussions and real-world examples, helping translate design intent into buildable solutions.

Certificates – Upon completion, delegates will receive a Benx training certificate recognising their understanding of rainscreen system fundamentals, performance considerations, and installation principles.
